Devolution to Neanderthal

 

All through life I have been taught to learn well, so that we can enter in top tier college and corporate - that would help me in having a seamless, thoughtless spending life with luxury. Ultimately, we are all directly or indirectly fed with thoughts since childhood that -  Money was all you need in the society to respect, to be respected, to love, for being loved and what not! 

I came across a news in my social media feeds, today - where a blind old man along with small boy was thrown out of a Govt bus along with their belongings, and was restricted to travel by driver and conductor, though they were ready to buy tickets. Guess what stopped them or made them not eligible to travel in bus?

It's because both of them belong to tribal community. Tribal community - a community who hold pride of one of biggest identity of our nation, the community who were literally ancient soldiers who protected the natural resources of the country. 

Right from Irular, kota to various tribes of our nation - they are known for their valour and fearlessness.

Where did we fail as a system after civilization?

Is it the innocent illiteracy of the tribes or the useless literacy of us?

Damn - Isn't it true that Money can teach you education but not values!

Your currency can get you highest degree on human rights, but not humanity! 

The degree that you possessed in most esteemed University has got nothing to do with respect that you are gaining in a society! 

Somewhere people are fed to brains that education and money decides the fate of your position in society.

Above all, education has only role reversed the humans to Neanderthals unfortunately! 

Switching back to history of Tholkappiyam - with fivefold classifications of lands, where one of the land was predominantly ruled by Tribes and  classification of humans was totally based on just sex and occupation. 

Introduction of Varna history of Hindu Concept led to introduction of Untouchables along with occupation based communities. 

Shouldn’t education incorporate evolution, rather it only run in reverse. 

COMMUNITY and CASTE is the derivation to trace the occupation, history, skills of our hereditary and never an identity/validation to determine the place of humans in this planet.

👉We live in a society, where getting educated under any caste is totally ok, but getting food from other caste is a sin.

 👉We live in a society, where getting touched, treated, or receiving blood during a crisis from other caste is ethical/humanly, but still providing water in same glass that we consume is unacceptable, which we modernize in the name of HYGIENE.

👉We live in a society where we generously help the needy to gain blessings, but still would think twice before touching our maid while providing her food. 

By educating the tribes, our education system has helped and is still helping a community to grow in the society, who may teach us and stand as best example about positive impact of Education, whereas we would still be Neanderthals holding a degree certificate with zilch value. 

Yet another girl

Shocking! Ashamed and scared in a way! It was a mixture of emotions when I read the news. Yes, in between my works I was scrolling through the feed in instagram, and that is where I found this piece of shit. For a moment, I started to shiver and started to browse about them hoping that the news is fake.

So what is the news all about?  India stands first in a survey, so why am I ashamed then? The survey is all about an unsafe place for women. Oh, it’s a cliché dialogue, but still, I would like to recollect another post I read long ago. We live in a place, where we call the god of our country, bharatmatha a woman, we have all rivers in name of women, and yes goddess are worshipped in a royal way, but still, we stand ahead in this survey as well.

Ok there are enough pens and media to debate about them and am not going to express anything different.  From nirbhaya, where they blame the girl for travelling in odd times, to aasifa who doesn’t even know what periods are J we are helpless, clueless aliens left in the society. We have already put the men in society to a status, by carrying guns and pepper spray. I sometimes wonder, is it the flesh and muscles that matters so much to them. If a guy have lot of them, people are scared of him, and if a girl have, they find that their two hands are not enough to handle them 

However the centre, rejected the survey later, by stating that the sample size of 500 women will not judge the whole country and can never be voice of all women across the country. I always felt personally that all women are forward minded, even when she is put on victim end. She was broken, when you broke her virginity, yes. But she was devasted, when she decided to live life after that and the rapist kills her. She is shattered, when justice is not in her side. She was always scared of future consequences and not the current agony she is going through, because at the end of day all that could be broken is her hymen, not her.

India has number of places, where sex work is legal, and if at all , all they need is happiness till dripping stops, they could land with these places, and help them earn their bread.  Many thinks, india is just unsafe , because of the rapes J india is very famous for official rapes as well. Difficult to guess ? We do call  official rapes as arranged marriages. There are number of incidents, where a girl is least interested, and burns her dreams in the fire. She is allowed to sleep with someone, who was stranger till date and we can call marriage is just simply a lifetime sleepover with a weirdo.

Dowry death, honour killings, female infanticide, gang rapes, marital rapes, acid attack, cyber crimes and we have seen almost revolution in different forms of violence against women. Change begins with an individual. And girls, next time when you don’t want sex that day night, be bold enough to tell your husband “No”. It is high time that we live in a well-educated society and men are assertive to accept them.

 When you find a funny joke is cracked in your workplace, which in a way deconstructs the image of a girl or women say that it is not funny and let them know it is not ok.

 Not all time, men are to be blamed. There are lot of difference between feminism and using your freedom in wrong way. When you live in a country, where the pregnant goat is being raped, then it is our inability as well to stay and act smart when needed.

It is high time to realize that men and women are equal, yes. But it is the cerebral strength that is compared and not the physical strength.  It is our mere responsibility to understand the same, in addition to complaining on society.

As it is always said, the only difference between being in love and being (an addict) high on drugs is that being in love is legal. Just like getting high, falling in love allows you to see the world through beautiful rose colored glasses – only seeing what makes you feel good and ignoring what makes you feel bad.

Your drug induced haze forces you to only see where you are similar to your lover, hiding you partner’s flaws and making you say and do anything to get along and please each other.

Now, your brain stops producing chemicals of love and you wake up one morning with what everybody call a “Love Hangover”, being  next to the most incompatible person in the world.

Chemistry - It’s been a trending term in recent times when it comes to relationship and commitments between two people. Practically, making the butterflies to fly in stomach, till the end and keeping them alive is eventually the right relationship.

Again, as almost all matters and fields of life are subject to change, this sphere of love and relationship is also inevitably prone to change. The chemistry fails here without the right proportions of our reactants and we will be scared of audiences.

Here comes the stage, where you become one among the stars of sky in relationship struggles and whether you are going to rise as Sun or disappear as stars is based on us. It will be a painful time, for most of the couple, as the illusion “True love will last forever”, fades away slowly, which will be replaced with anger and disappointment.


One of the interesting articles, which i read clearly describes about this stage, as struggle Stage. Instead of seeing your similarities(like you did in the romance Stage), you begin focusing on your differences and your partner's flaws.

At the end of the day, compromise anything for your relationship, if you know that he/she is the person. When you learn to confront and resolve issues and conflicts, it helps your relationship mature. 
Give what you want to get. Our needs change with time. If you'd like to feel understood, try being more understanding. If you want to feel more love, try giving more. It's a simple program that really works. Understanding and celebrating our differences will make living together more peaceful, interesting..

Amma and appa, I know you will now be crying in front of my photos J. I am not able to wipe away your tears. Everywhere, in every forms of media, people fight for me, gossip about me J some even curse me. Through this letter I am gonna reveal the unknown truth. Let me remove the knots of pain behind every rape victims, at least then let this planet value us.

Give me a call, when you reach your place, will be send off message probably by every parent to the girl. Who made the mistake? Does the attitude of girl, to pursue her dreams sounds wrong? Does the attitude of a girl, to remain flexible and competitive like guys sound sluggish? Did I make mistake, by deciding to uplift my family in society through my job

Appa, these words are for you J You always insisted me to be brave, learn self defense. I did notL . Asked me to run everyday morning, to gain stamina. You know what appa, when he chased me to get what he needed from me, I realized how weak I am, I realized my stamina level. Your favourite dress of mine  is torn daddy. I still realize the day, during my age of 5,when I fell from cycle, and it bleeded a little in my knee, you did not sleep for 1 week till the scar disappeared. And now appa, L I am hurt everywhere. ? Appa, you always said that you wished for a girl, during second delivery of amma, and I was born. And you never regretted for it. I know from now you are going to regret it for lifetime. I really want to live appa , I have lots of dreams. But in our society, virginity is considered to be precious and highly valuable, than a victim’s soul like mine. Amma this is for you J you insisted me, on every periods to sleep, to overcome the pain of bleeding. May be because of that, I am now going to sleep forever. It pained, It was hurt, it was torn L Along with his cigarette, my dreams, my virginity, my purity above all my soul was burnt.  Amma, you always told me it will be painful, but not this extent. I realized, why you always insisted me to wear shawls, wear long tops. Not to wear sleeveless, not to wear low necks, above all not to trust anyone. But I know it is too late. I did not leave this world, so easily and so soon. I struggled, crawled for water, suffered with stomach pain, and ashamed of reaching people with torn clothes.  You always teased for looking into mirror throughout the day, and now I will never be able to look into the mirror again, I am ashamed too. Amma , is it a curse to give birth to a girl childL

To all of you people, who discuss in forum, about the rapes, gossip about victims in media, question the family of victims after the incident. Instead, teach every guy to donate bloodJ May be he will understand the value of blood and value of soul.

To my family and society, instead of decorating my photos with flowers, and lighting lamp and crying or protesting or spreading awareness with it, instead hold pluck cards of guy because of whom I buried my dreams, because of whom my family became famous and hot topic for every morning newspaper. Change the law, change the punishment and save me. Let me be the last girl, let this be the last letter delivered.
